| Small Arms Firing School Information |
This Small Arms Firing School/Service Rifle Clinic is open to the public and will be held
at the Nicolet Rifle Club Range, located at 2710 St. Pat's Road in Suamico Township,
Wisconsin.
The purpose of the School/Clinic is to familiarize active and prospective High Power
Rifle competitors with the procedures and techniques involved in this growing sport.
Advanced methods will be provided for those familiar with the fundamentals.
After an indoctrination into the principles and safety practices involved, each
participant will be coached individually, by a competitor who holds a rating of
Sharpshooter or higher. Actual firing will take place, and helpful, constructive criticism
will be provided by each coach to make the shooter a better, safer shooter.
Registration is by mail only. Phone or e-mail reservations are not accepted for this
function. A registration fee of $10.00 must accompany all registrations and is non-
refundable. An additional activity fee of $10.00 will be collected upon squadding, the
day of the event.
Participants who also fire in this high-power rifle match may apply to the Civilian
Marksmanship Program for a surplus M-1 Garand rifle, M-1 Carbine, and or whatever
other surplus rifles they may have for sale. And with a club membership and proof of
competition may apply for up to an additional four M-1s and other rifles that are offered
from time to time, per year. Some parts and accessories are sometimes available.
Come on out and see what it's all about! Bring eye and ear protection and your own
US military style rifle and ammo if you’d like. You may fire your own Springfield, M-17
Enfield, M-1941 Johnson, M-1 Garand or Carbine, M1A or AR-15 if you’d like.
